Cabouchons

Cabs are stocked in a complete range of colours, calibrated in all mm sizes, from 2mm round and 3x5mm oval to as large as is possible for a wearable gem, depending on the stone type and availability.

Cabs can be polished with a matt finsh. A checker top cut is available in some stones ie blue chalcedony, carnelian, chrysoprase, onyx, amethyst and citrine.

Clear cabs ie Garnet, Amethyst, Citrine, Aquamarine and Tourmeline as well as the rutile, smoky and rose quartzes are usually of faceting quality rough with a higher lustre and less inclusions than commercial quality cabouchons. In exceptional cases we stock 2 complete ranges ie rainbow moonstone and fire opal is available in a commercial quality and an exceptionally clear gemmy crystal quality.

Cabs are my speciality, and can also be cut to size.
